The Simbius project, directed by Liliana Sulzbach and produced by Luciana Tomasi, was one of two six documentary projects selected in the Nature & Conservation category of the 33rd edition of the Sunny Side of the Doc 2022 international market! The event will take place in June in La Rochelle, France.
The series project in six episodes was developed at Núcleo Prana Filmes, contemplated in the PRODAV 03/2017 – Núcleos Criativos.
Logline: After the premature death of her father, environmental photographer Rodrigo Baleia, young Alice decides to carry out his Simbius project, which investigates cases of mutualism between species, highlighting the interactions between the forest and native peoples of the Amazon, where cooperation outshines competition.
